Amanda is a qualified secondary teacher, with a specialism in Modern foreign languages (MFL).

She has extensive leadership experience across middle, secondary and special. As a deputy headteacher, her responsibilities included personal development, SEND and safeguarding.

She helped the schools where she worked to provide outstanding provision for every child. Amanda believes that every child deserves the right to a great education and that great schools have the power to change lives and communities.

As a school improvement officer, Amanda is committed to working in collaboration with North Tyneside schools to improve the outcomes for all of our vulnerable learners.
