Jo has been involved in sport development for the past 20 years within central and local government.
Her current role is to deliver the national School Games offer at a local level and to lead on a programme of events and activities which provide opportunities to engage all young people in school sport and physical activity.
Previous roles, across various parts of the country, have allowed Jo to gain vital experience in working with different partners and stakeholders. Working across networks and in collaboration with these partners has given her the knowledge to support and implement programmes which are appropriate and relevant to young people.
Jo has led school sport projects and initiatives across the county area to support positive engagement in sport and physical activity. Jo is passionate about children and young people accessing physical activity, the importance of physical literacy and the benefits this can bring to health and wellbeing.
