Alex is a dynamic and dedicated educator with a wealth of qualifications and experience. She holds the National Programme for Specialist Leaders of Behaviour and Attendance award, a Postgraduate Certificate in Autism and Asperger's Syndrome, and is a certified MHFA England Youth Mental Health First Aid trainer. Additionally, Alex is an NCETM accredited professional development lead.

Her extensive background includes leading Secondary Mathematics in both mainstream and alternative provisions and serving as an Assistant Headteacher in an alternative provision. Alex is a seasoned provider of conferences, whole school, and departmental CPD, sharing her expertise and passion for inclusive education.

Alex's commitment to inclusion is evident in her specialisations: supporting students who are experiencing barriers to accessing their education, mental health, SEND, mathematics curriculum and pedagogy, subject leadership and cognitive science. As a local authority school improvement officer, she is committed to supporting and challenging leaders working in collaboration to foster an inclusive culture in North Tyneside schools, ensuring that all young people can thrive.
