Julia joined the Governor Services Team in September 2017 as a Casual governor support officer, a role she also carries out for Newcastle City Council.

As a Casual member of the team, Julia covers any school governors’ meetings the team are unable to cover, and any ad hoc meetings including parent complaint hearings and school exclusion hearings.

Julia’s career prior to retirement from full time work was in Human Resources for the NHS and latterly for Northumbrian Water.
