Kate joined the local authority in the role of SCITT Business Manager in 2009.

Kate holds a BA (Hons) in Leadership and Management. Kate manages the operation and delivery of services for the primary teacher training programme and has responsibility for financial aspects of the programme.

Kate undertakes the management, mentoring and training of support staff and trainees and works closely with a number of internal and external stakeholders.

In addition, Kate supports the SCITT partnership by co-ordinating and contributing to the provision of professional expertise and support and strives to ensure that the service provides high levels of trainee and stakeholder satisfaction, and that expectations of stakeholders and trainees are met.
