Lisa is a qualified secondary teacher, with a history and politics specialism. An experienced senior leader, she completed her NPQH in 2007.
With a wide range of experience of school improvement work, Lisa has worked with educators from nursery to college, in local authority and commercial educational consultancy projects. A facilitator of change, she has delivered training in Europe and America for Challenging Learning and has a depth of experience in coaching leaders.
As Assistant Director of Education and Inclusion, Lisa is informed by research based pedagogy and practice to achieve improved outcomes for children and young people in North Tyneside. Qualified to deliver the MHFA training, Lisa is the strategic lead for the Universal Mental Health offer to schools in North Tyneside. Lisa is passionate about working alongside schools to challenge and build a collaborative professional culture across North Tyneside to improve leadership, curriculum and pedagogy.
