Maddy Kennedy is a qualified teacher who has worked in both large and small primary schools.

She has completed the National Professional Qualification for Headship and has senior leadership experience.

Her teaching experience is in early years and key stage one. In her role as a school improvement officer; she is a school development partner, leads the highly skilled early years team (schools, early years providers, Portage and Preschool Teaching Service and Early Years Inclusion Service) and works effectively with many early years' services across the borough.

She leads on the EYFS Profile, school reviews (EY and primary) and the requirements of the Revised EYFS. She is a visiting fellow for the National Professional Qualification for Early Years Leadership. She is passionate about children and their families having the best start possible through high quality provision that is enabled by truly skilled practitioners.
