Mhairi is a qualified teacher and has worked in a range of primary schools within Bristol and the surrounding area.

She has worked across the primary age range and secured senior leadership roles including primary headship. Mhairi has been closely involved in initial teacher training for the last twenty years.

She has worked for universities in the West Midlands and the North East and has led a range of teacher training programmes across a number of routes including undergraduate, postgraduate, employment-based and online teacher training.

As the North Tyneside SCITT Programme Manager, Mhairi works closely with first and primary schools within the SCITT partnership. She has an inherent passion and commitment to education and training the next generation of teachers in schools.
