Enhancing Inclusive SEND Practices Together

Audience: SENDCos in mainstream school who need to gain a better understanding of Early Years SEND practice, Early Years Leaders, Early Years SENCos, Nursery Managers

  • Better understand what inclusive practice looks like and identify where the strengths and areas for development are within your SEND provision and practice.
  • Carry out an audit of SEND provision and practice in their Early Years.
  • Develop a portfolio which will feed into a SEND development plan.
  • Pair up with similar Early Years schools or settings to review your final action plan, carry out a SEND audit in your partner setting.
